Lunch & Learn: Rose Island In-Person
Learn more about the history of the Rose Island Amusement Park that was a favorite local recreational spot until the 1937 Flood destroyed it. Local author, Terry Chambers, has researched the real story of Rose Island in preparation for her fictionalized novel. Chambers’ presentation will focus on what she learned about Rose Island in preparing for her book. Lunch & Learn is free and open to the public, but registration is requested.
