Virtual Discovery Friday: Dia de los Muertos

Virtual Discovery Friday: Dia de los Muertos In-Person

Join us for Discovery Friday!  Each week we'll have an exciting presentation or hands-on activity.  Today we'll have an art project about El Dia de los Muertos with a staff member from the Carnegie Center of Art and History.  Discovery Friday is recommended for elementary students and is a great educational opportunity for homeschooling families.  Here's a list of supplies for the program:

- Cocktail or party napkins (any color). Go for the kind that are a bit sturdier and smoother than regular lunch paper napkins. If you don't have them, regular napkins will work in a pinch, as will tissue paper.

- Scissors

- A few twist-ties, like a bread bag. If you don't have those, use pipe cleaners or some other kind of thin wire.

- Markers in a few colors

- Optional: spray bottle with water
