Third Saturday Concert Series: A Celtic Afternoon In-Person
In partnership with the Community Music Alliance, the Cultural Arts Center is offering the Third Saturday Concert Series, from 2:00-4:15 pm on third Saturdays from August 2024 to January 2025 (the December 21st concert will be held at the Central Branch of the Floyd County Library). Each concert will have 2 family-friendly music performances, one hour each with a 15-minute intermission in between. Due to limited seating, registration is recommended.
Mrs. Doyle performs a rousing blend of Irish traditional songs and dance tunes on the fiddle, Irish-style bouzouki, and Irish tenor banjo. Keltricity is a Celtic World band that features contemporary, traditional and eclectic music from Ireland, Cape Breton, Scotland, England, Brittany, New England, French Canada and more.
