History Deep Dives: Historic Photos In-Person
The Carnegie Center and Central branches of the Floyd County Library are pleased to offer "History Deep Dives," a monthly daytime history speaker series. Programs are held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month and will alternate between the Carnegie Center and the Central Branch.
This month, join us at the Central Branch to learn how to "read," date, and identify historic photographs. Special Collections librarians Veronica Palensky and Allison Kilberg will teach you how to look for clues that will help you understand historic photos. Then test out your new skills on photos from the library's historic photographs collection, or bring your own photos from home.
