Beginner Monotype Class with Artist Kacey Slone! 14+

Beginner Monotype Class with Artist Kacey Slone! 14+ In-Person

The Carnegie Center's 2022 Artist in Residence, Kacey Slone is an Indiana artist using the 200 square-foot Sally Newkirk Gallery in the Carnegie Center as her own personal art studio for 9 weeks during the summer–throughout the duration of the Form, Not Function quilt exhibition.

As a multimedia artist, Kacey works with many different materials to create her work, including paint, photography, sculpture, bookmaking, and printmaking!

In this class, participants will learn a basic printmaking method called "trace monotype."  Come meet Kacey, learn this fun technique, and check out the art exhibition upstairs while you're at it! No experience necessary, and all materials will be provided.

For ages 14+ (teens and adults); class size is restricted to 18.
