Pre-K Storytime and Art Adventures with Ms. Eileen happen Tuesdays at 10:00 AM Live via Zoom! Each class features one book and one art activity led live by Carnegie Director Ms. Eileen. Classes are limited to 10 families. 

Book: Last Stop on Market Street, by Matt de la Peña
Activity: Tissue Box Bus

Supplies:
-preferably a long empty tissue box, with the plastic film inside, but we can make almost any similarly sized box work. If you don't have a tissue box, be prepared to do some extra cardboard cutting for the kids for the bus windows
-white construction paper
-yellow construction paper just in case the coating on your tissue box resists the acrylic pain
-black construction paper
-white crayon and 2 inch circle for tracing wheels on black paper
-yellow acrylic paint
-black acrylic paint
-markers, all colors, including different skin colors
-scissors
-tape

Projects are best for ages 4-6 with accompanying adult, but older and younger children in the household are welcome to participate. As a branch of the Floyd County Library, the Carnegie Center for Art and History supports the growth and creativity of an engaged, informed, and connected community.
