Have you always wanted to read the "classics", but weren't sure they were for you? Did you read a classic book in school, because you "had to", and think you would like to check it out again? Christopher Proctor leads this book group for adults and makes the classics approachable for all. If you're reading these books for the first time, you'll have support. And if you have read them, these works can offer different insights at different points in our lives - take a new look, and see what you can discover.
You are not required to read the book, but we encourage consuming it in some form (film, stage, audio, etc.).
Copies of each month's book available in the Floyd County Library catalog, additional copies available at the Customer Service Desk. Look for digital versions available through Overdrive, Hoopla, and Project Gutenberg (www.gutenberg.org) - ask us how!
Registration is suggested but not required.
