Film Screening & Discussion, “The Story of Eva”

Film Screening & Discussion, “The Story of Eva” In-Person

At the age of 10, Eva Mozes Kor fought through the worst the Holocaust had to offer – being experimented on as one of "Mengele' s twins" at Auschwitz. At 50, she helped launch the biggest manhunt in history. Now 84, after decades of pain and anger, she travels the world to promote what her life journey has taught: Hope. Healing. Humanity.

“The Story of Eva” is a 60 min. documentary that captures this remarkable woman’s legacy and shows the power for good a dedicated person can have. It will serve as a tool for discussing difficult history, discovering shared values and encouraging peace and kindness. A discussion following the screening will be led by Fred Whittaker, a religion teacher at St. Francis of Assisi who has taught Holocaust courses for 17 years.
