Introduction to building value when making observational still-life drawings
PART TWO : VALUE SHAPES WITH CHARCOAL
In this class we will focus on seeing shapes of value within a still-life. Participants will tone their paper to a middle gray and then work both additively (drawing with charcoal) and subtractive (drawing with the eraser).
