All About Art for Elementary Students: History of Cyanotypes In-Person

In this fun, hands-on program, elementary students will learn how people made beautiful blue-and-white pictures long before digital cameras existed. We'll explore the fascinating history of cyanotypes, meet the scientists and artists who helped make them famous, and see how sunlight can create amazing prints. Then, students will make their own cyanotype artwork using natural objects like leaves, flowers, and other fun shapes. This creative activity combines art, science, and history in an exciting way that sparks curiosity and imagination.
