Curator's Talk, G.W. Morrison, Artist: To a Finer Effect In-Person
Join exhibit curator Albertus Gorman for a gallery talk in the exhibition G.W. Morrison, Artist: To a Finer Effect, on display March 10 - August 1, 2026 in the Sally Newkirk Gallery. This exhibition is presented in celebration of Gorman’s forthcoming book, the first on the artist, titled To a Fine Effect: George W Morrison, 1820-1893. G.W. Morrison, Artist: To a Finer Effect features works by 19th-century New Albany artist George W. Morrison, including many highlighted in Gorman’s book. Registration encouraged but not required.
