✏️ Sketchbook Saturdays: From Line to Life A Progressive Skill-Building Course in Drawing & Visual Thinking In-Person

Ready to unlock your inner artist? This engaging drawing course invites you to slow down, observe the world with fresh eyes, and discover the joy of creating from scratch. Whether you’re a total beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this class will guide you through the essential building blocks of drawing, no fancy supplies or prior experience needed!

This drawing course is designed to introduce students to the fundamental skills, concepts, and practices of drawing.

We will start with low-supply, high-impact activities that get your creativity flowing while teaching you to see like an artist. From there, you’ll explore the core elements of line, value, and texture before moving on to more advanced projects in perspective, still life, gesture, and portrait drawing.

Each week, you’ll grow your confidence through a balanced mix of, quick and playful sketchbook exercises, exploratory techniques that spark curiosity and discovery, and in-depth projects that challenge and inspire.

🖍️ Perfect for: Curious beginners, creative dabblers, or anyone who wants to reconnect with the joy of drawing.
