Art in Autumn: 🎃 The Pumpkin Patch Parade In-Person
🎃 Celebrate the spirit of fall with a festive art experience that combines harvest history with hands-on creativity! In this textured canvas painting session, students will explore the cultural roots of pumpkins in American harvest and Halloween traditions, while learning folk art techniques using spackle, layered paint, and sealer to create stunning 3D pumpkin designs.
Using mixed-media materials, students will sculpt and paint dimensional pumpkins that pop off the canvas. They'll explore color blending, texture layering, and the art of light and shadow while connecting with seasonal storytelling and artistic expression. Perfect for middle schoolers, teens, or adults, this project encourages both personal creativity and skill-building in a relaxed, festive environment.
Participants will leave with a unique piece of fall-themed artwork ready to display and enjoy all season long!
