Art in Autumn: Feathered Friends & Autumn Skies

Art in Autumn: Feathered Friends & Autumn Skies In-Person

Join us for a seasonal nature adventure as we dive into the world of birds and their autumn journeys! In this engaging hands-on session, visitors will explore bird migration, learn why birds fly in “V” formations, and discover how the changing seasons affect local wildlife. After a read-aloud and nature discussion, visitors will create eco-friendly pinecone bird feeders using simple materials.

This activity not only nurtures fine motor skills but also encourages compassion for wildlife and observational thinking. Patrons are encouraged to hang their feeders outdoors and start their very own bird-watching journals, sparking curiosity that will last all season long!

Perfect for elementary through adult learners, this lesson blends science, storytelling, crafting, and environmental care all in one joyful, feather-filled day.
