STEM SMART Parenting In-Person
Helping Kids Grow Their STEM Skills This School Year
Join us for a friendly and engaging session designed for parents, grandparents, and caregivers who want to support the children in their lives as they explore STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
Indiana University Southeast education professors Dr. Lisa Hoffman and Dr. Alan Zollman, authors of STEM SMART Parenting: A Practical Guide for Nurturing Innovative Thinkers, will share simple, practical ways you can help your child build confidence and curiosity in STEM subjects—no special expertise required!
This interactive event will include a engaging hands-on activity for children, giving them a chance to practice their own STEM SMART thinking skills.
You’ll also have the chance to meet the authors, purchase a copy of the book at a special library friends discount, and have it signed if you wish.
We’d love to see you there!
