Teen Beginning Genealogy Workshop 101

Teen Beginning Genealogy Workshop 101 In-Person

October is National Family History Month!

Join us on Wednesday, October 1st, for an interactive workshop designed especially for Teens, ages 13-17, on how to get started researching their family history. Participants will learn the basics of creating their own family tree, how to begin collecting information and family stories via conducting oral interviews, and how to organize their research. Participants will have an opportunity to begin their family tree. Before the workshop, participants are encouraged to  pick one ancestor to work on during the workshop and to bring what information they have on that person.
