Family Storytime in the Gallery: Degas In-Person
Explore the world of art through fun stories and crafts, each week focusing on a new theme, artist or activity. This week, we’ll explore the work of Edgar Degas, a famous French artist known for his beautiful and expressive ballerina paintings and sculptures. Degas captured the grace and movement of dancers like no one else, using soft pastels and delicate lines to bring his subjects to life. After learning about his unique style and famous works, we’ll create our own ballerina craft.
