Lunch and Learn, The Ohio: A River of Inspiration

Lunch and Learn, The Ohio: A River of Inspiration In-Person

Along with a presentation of her photography, Susan Griffin Ward will tell a few river tales, talk about the value of the Ohio River, some of its tributaries, and why it is important to protect and restore these incredible natural resources.

A lover of the Ohio River, Susan Griffin Ward is dedicated to protecting, restoring, and celebrating waterways in all their forms. As the Director of Community Engagement at Kentucky Waterways Alliance and a board member of the Ohio River Way and Payne Hollow on the Ohio, she brings decades of nonprofit service to environmental and social causes. Susan is also a photographer and author of the book, Looking for the Sun at Merton's Corner: A Collection of Portraits. She channels her passion for nature and storytelling into inspiring others to connect with Kentucky’s waterways through conservation, adventure, and art.
