Indiana Author Award Presents: John David Anderson In-Person

Join us at New Albany Central Library for a special presentation by Indiana Author, John David Anderson! He will talk about the importance of storytelling and how inspiration, curiosity, practice, and perseverance are the keys to being a good storyteller.

After the presentation there will be STEM stations that will allow you to design your own superhero, design a hole for miniature golf, build a spaceship out of LEGO, and write positive notes on Post-Its for others.

John David Anderson is the best-selling and critically-acclaimed author of a dozen novels for young people, including Ms. Bixby's Last Day, Posted, Granted, Stowaway, One Last Shot and The Greatest Kid in the World. A lifelong resident of Indianapolis, he spends his days hiking, biking, building Lego, and encouraging young people to read and share their own stories. He fervently believes that chocolate is a vegetable and makes sure to get his daily recommended allowance.

We hope to see you there!
