Adult Art Workshop: Photography Basics

Adult Art Workshop: Photography Basics In-Person

Adult Art Workshops provide a space to explore mediums in art and different techniques for creating. Workshops are open to all experience levels and participants 14 years and older to explore new art-making skills.

In this Adult Art Workshop, we will take inspiration from the Photo Biennial and the launch of Carnegie’s new Makerspace to familiarize ourselves with digital cameras! During this workshop, you will work in pairs learning the basics of the camera (provided by the Carnegie). By the end of Digital Photography Basics, you will be familiar with the camera, exposure, shutter speed, aperture, and go home with a printed photograph from the day.

If you have questions, please email art museum educator Sheridan Bishoff sbishoff@carnegiecenter.org.
