Art Tales

Art Tales In-Person

There are many ways to look, interpret, and tell the story of art. This book discussion will adventure through the fiction and nonfiction of books, journals, and articles alike! Join us this month in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month reading two chapters from Latin American Art since 1900.

An extraordinary synthesis of more than a century’s worth of art across Central and South America, Latin American Art Since 1900 covers everyone from popular figures such as Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo, to a wide range of other artists who are less well-known outside Latin America. This vital canon of art history is celebrated in discussions at Carnegie Center’s Art Tales Book Club.

Printed essays can be picked up at Carnegie Center for Art and History.
