Local Author Visit: Brigid Morrissey - The Bird That Walked North

Local Author Visit: Brigid Morrissey - The Bird That Walked North In-Person

Meet local author Brigid Morrissey as she reads her favorite excerpts from her new children's book "The Bird That Walked North." She will talk about her inspirations and then offer a "how-to-draw" of one of the characters from the book!

Recommended for K-7th grade. Registration is required.

Book Description: “There once was a girl who lost her direction. But through it all, she wrote this collection.” “The Bird That Walked North” is a poetry collection that is both charmingly innocent and delightfully deep. Full of puns and fun wordplay, these verses have been inspired by people and incidents in Brigid's daily life. She hopes this book will be a light for children and adults - that they can also learn to look for humor while finding their path in life.
