Dave Stryker Jazz Trio In-Person
Join us at the Carnegie Center on Saturday, April 22nd for a free concert with the Dave Stryker Jazz Trio, featuring Dave Stryker on guitar with Kendall Carter on organ and Jonathan Higgins on drums. Held in April in celebration of Jazz Appreciation Month around the world, the concert will include selections of Jazz, Blues, Groove, Swing and more! Free and open to the public, registration is appreciated.
About Dave Stryker
Whether you’ve heard guitarist Dave Stryker fronting his own group (with 35 CDs as a leader to date), or as a featured sideman with Stanley Turrentine and Jack McDuff, you know why Gary Giddins in the Village Voice called him "one of the most distinctive guitarists to come along in recent years.” When Dave was 18 he attended a Jamey Aebersold Jazz Camp in Wichita and years later joined Jamey’s Summer Jazz Workshops.
